The brief was to create an informative foundation to guide the specifications for the functions and characteristics of a ride hailing vehicle, with a global perspective.
I worked amongst a team to structure and conduct ethnographic research in Hangzhou, China and London, UK to gather insights on the user needs from a ride hail driver’s perspective and passengers perspective.
The insights and analysis were used to informed design and brand strategy.

Role: Team Lead, Interaction designer, User Researcher
Timeframe: 2020-2021
Client: Lynk & Co Design
Project: Lynk & Co 08
This assignment began from the conception of the project, starting with understanding the fundamental needs and use case of the vehicle within the Lynk & Co line up. The project continued into defining and conceptualizing Lynk & Co’s HMI generation- ‘CoLynk4’.
The UX team, UI team, and developers worked closely to build prototypes of the concept in ergonomic bucks for validating concepts. I took responsibility for structuring and conducting user testing as well as analysing data to support feedback for iterations.
The HMI concepts and user feedback impacted the design and sourcing of interior components.

Project: ZEEKR 009
I worked within a collaborative team amongst user experience, brand, strategy and interior design teams to develop human centred experiences within the interior.
I conducted market research and benchmarking in China to inform our ideation. We built adjustable UX rigs to scale, which we used to conduct user tests on our concepts. Finally, we prototyped our vision of personalized, unique experiences in an immersive ergonomic buck where stakeholders and design team could sit and experience sound, lighting and digital interactions.
This visionary UX work can now be seen in ZEEKR 009.
