Microcardix
Microcardix is a patent pending endovascular microcatheter-based device designed for harvesting minimal tissue samples of the heart and organs near major vessels, such as the lungs, liver, and kidneys.
The device has smaller profile compared to conventional devices, and a unique mechanism for extracting samples which provides added safety.
I contributed as a product designer from Afry Experience Studio developing the handle and mechanism to control the movement of the catheter.
